Boys & Girls Club of West Chester / Liberty
In every community, boys and girls are left to find their own recreation and companionship after school and in the summer. In the West Chester/Liberty Township area, an increasing number of children are at home with no adult care or supervision. BGCWCL promotes and enhances the development of youth by instilling a sense of competence, usefulness, belonging and influence - all while having fun. It is the place where great futures are started each and every day.
Did you know?
- There are approximately 16,585 youth in the Lakota Local School District
- 20% of those children are on free and reduced lunch. That’s 3,317.
Over 3,000 youth in the West Chester/Liberty community need your help!
Why are the number of students on free and reduced lunch so significant? Because school lunch program data shows poverty is increasing dramatically in places where it used to be a rarity. In order to stay affordable and continue to offer these services to the youth who need us most – many of whom come from two income households – we need your help.
While it costs BGCWCL approximately $4000/year per member, we only charge $50/year per member.
