    Patti Alderson, Founder

    A long-time resident of West Chester/Liberty, Patti has been instrumental in developing the philanthropic arm of the community. Patti led the effort to open the original Club in 2014, and with the support of Lakota Schools and many generous people who saw the need for a larger facility, Patti was able to raise the funds and open the doors to the current Club facility on January 4, 2018. She loves being at the Club and says just being with the kids makes it all worthwhile.

  • Damon Knoche, CEO
    Damon Knoche, CEO

    A former educator, Damon has served in the non-profit arena for over fifteen years, with the last ten being in executive leadership roles. As a youth, Damon grew up in his local Boys & Girls Club playing basketball, and has a passion for the Club’s mission. Damon thrives on collaborative work, creating a sense of family, and working collectively to find innovative approaches to address community needs. An advocate for individuals of all abilities, Damon currently serves on the Board of Directors for Butler County Board of Developmental Disabilities. Damon and his wife, Samantha, reside in Monroe with their four children.

    Caleb Redslob, Club Director

    Caleb began his career at BGCWCL as a part-time art room instructor, and brings the same creativity and expressiveness to his role as Club Director. He strives to bring out the best in staff, volunteers, and members by identifying individuals’ key strengths and giving everyone their chance to shine. His personal mission at the Club is to foster strong connections between mentors and peers. A kid at heart, Caleb most enjoys playing board games, performing improv comedy, and hiking with his wife, Maddie, and dogs, Indie and Freddie.

    Kim Tepe, Business Manager

    With an extensive background in non-profit organizations, focusing on finance and business management, Kim brings a passion for serving others that reflects in her dependability and attention to detail. She is a proud mother of three humans, two dogs, and one cat. Her office is easily identified by a collection of Mickey Mouse memorabilia and a well-stocked candy bowl.

    Jessica Wall, Program Director (Teens)

    Jessica graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing and International Business. During her time at UC, she studied abroad in Toronto, London, Ecuador, Guatemala, and South Africa, completing a mix of service-learning and business projects. Jessica brings her experiences into the Club by implementing programs including: the Flex Center, our mindfulness and self-regulation hub, as well as the Club Dojo Store, our recognition and reward tool, in hopes of advancing our mission to enable our members to reach their full potential.

  • Kyle Pendleton, Program Director (Elementary)
    Kyle Pendleton, Program Director (Elementary)

    Beginning as a volunteer in 2018, Kyle quickly fell in love with the Club’s mission and its members. Using his creative retail background and his interdisciplinary Bachelor's Degree, he took on the role of Program Director to create progressive programs for our elementary members and, later, tell the Club’s story through social media and digital marketing platforms. Kyle is an interior design enthusiast and dedicated plant parent, whose passion for creating is rivaled only by his love of Star Wars!

    Yiren Xiao, Academic Coordinator

    Yiren graduated from the University of Kentucky with an honorary Degree in Master of Clinical Social Work, a Bachelor Degree in Sociology and two minors. Yiren believes that healthy and positive intervention at one’s early stage of life is crucial to being successful in one’s adult life. Person-centered and relationship-based care are Yiren's driving forces contributing to how she serves youth to reach their full capability of becoming an empowered, eager-to-learn, and accountable citizen within the community.

    Kathy Cook, Special Events Coordinator

    Kathy and her family are long time residents of Liberty Township. Kathy's passion has been working with Lakota and local nonprofits that seek to nurture, educate and help our youth reach their fullest potential. Kathy appreciates the need for funding and has always utilized her talents and passion to ensure that these nonprofits can continue with their missions. Kathy loves the continued opportunity to pour her energy into the success of the Club!
