After-School Program

AFTER-SCHOOL 2026-2027

DURATION

August 13, 2026 - May 21, 2027; Monday-Friday, 2:30-7:00 pm 

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

• Members arrive after school by bus (Lakota Schools K-9th only) or parent/guardian drop off.  Guardians are responsible for updating their FinalForm or contacting Lakota Transportation to arrange busing.
• Upon arrival, members can enjoy a complimentary snack along with open Club options. 
• After the arrival period, members go to their age-specific homerooms, based on their grade level. The first program of the day for all members is Power Hour. Power Hour is a designated time for member to focus on homework, get assistance from staff and volunteers, or taking advantage of BGCWCL's other academic supports, like *Edmentum. 
• After Power Hour, members may choose from a variety of skill-building programs like Fun Fitness in the gymnasium, Maker Space in the art studio, and more! 
• Parents/guardians can pick up anytime using our safe, convenient curbside text system.

PRICING

Standard Pricing (One Time Fee)

$200 for Academic School Year (August 13, 2026- May 21, 2027)   

Registration after January 1 will be prorated to 50% of the annual fee.                                              

Free & Reduced Lunch Pricing

Discounts available for members who qualify for free/reduced lunch. Questions for eligibility are included in the Membership application. 

School year registration is not guaranteed until payment is received.

TRANSPORTATION

• Transportation is provided for Lakota schools, K-9th grade; However, parents/ guardians MUST complete this transportation form for their school.  
• High School transportation is available through our Club Van when available. Spots on the van may be limited. If your member is able to drive themselves, please complete a Member Safety Plan with the Club Director. 

HOLIDAYS, BREAKS, & IN-SERVICE DAYS

BGCWCL will be CLOSED on the following days: 

9/7/26: Labor Day

9/8/26:  Teacher Safety Day

10/16/26: Teacher PD Day

11/25/26 - 11/27/26: Thanksgiving, +1 day before/after

12/21/26 - 1/4/26: Winter Break

2/12/27: Compensatory Day

3/12/27: Professional Development

3/26/27:  Good Friday

The Club will remain OPEN, from 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. on the following Lakota In-service/Professional Development days. 

11/03/26: Election Day

1/18/27: Martin Luther King Day

2/15/27: President’s Day

3/29/27 - 4/2/27: Spring Break

5/4/27 - Election Day
