AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAM 2026-2027

DURATION

August 13, 2026 - May 21, 2027; Monday-Friday, 2:30-6:00 pm 

Location:  Resurrection Church Mason, 6315 S. Mason Montgomery Road, Mason, OH 45040

 

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

  • Members arrive after school (walkable from all Mason City School facility locations) or parent/guardian drop off. Guardians are responsible for updating their FinalForm or contacting Mason City Schools to notify school staff of their students' after school program plans.
  • Upon arrival, members can enjoy a complimentary snack along with open Club options. 
  • After the arrival period, members go to their age-specific homerooms, based on their grade level.
  • Each Club day is centered around four (4) Priority Programs - Academic Success, Healthy Lifestyles, Character Education & Leadership, and Life & Workforce Readiness.
  • The first program of the day for all members is Power Hour. Power Hour is a designated time for member to focus on homework, get assistance from staff and volunteers, or taking advantage of BGCWCL's other academic support programs. 
  • After Power Hour, members may choose from a variety of skill-building programs like Fun Fitness in the gymnasium, Maker Space in the art studio, and more! 
  • Parents/guardians can pick up anytime using our safe, convenient curbside text system. 

 

PRICING

Standard Pricing (One Time Fee)

$200 for Academic School Year (August 13, 2026- May 21, 2027)   

Registration after January 1 will be prorated to 50% of the annual fee.                                              

Free & Reduced Lunch Pricing

Discounts available for members who qualify for free/reduced lunch. Questions for eligibility are included in the Membership application. 

School year registration is not guaranteed until payment is received.

NO TRANSPORTATION NECESSARY

  • As Boys & Girls Club of Mason/Deerfield's location at Resurrection Church Mason is walkable from all Mason City School campuses, transportation is NOT provided to the Club.  Club staff will work with school administrators to establish a place to connect and escort Club members to the church each afternoon.  However, parents/ guardians may pick up/drop students off at the Club if they wish.  All Club members will need to be picked up from the Club NO LATER than our closing time of 6:00pm Monday-Friday.

10/12-10/13/26:  Professional Work Days

11/20/26:  Journey Days

11/23-11/27/26:  Fall Break

12/18/26:  Professional Work Day

12/22/26 - 1/1/27:  Winter Break

1/18/27:  Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

2/12/27:  Journey Days

2/15/27:  President's Day

3/12/26:  Journey Days

3/22 - 3/26/27:  Spring Break
